While the world moved around her, she realized that much like day world had begun to disappear that anything could be forgotten with enough effort. “ Push . . . Us . . .Out. Feel the minds that would see slide right off. They inherently don ’ t want to see. Grant them their wish. ” The feeling that Vanessa had learned from Cassius that first night moved from her arms, down her fingers, and slid out into the world. “ Yes... ” The companion sighed in ecstasy. “ Can ’ t you feel the eyes of the world slide right off? Think of all the things that can be lost. Think of all the things that we can find. ” The thoughts agreed. Sometimes it was best to move unseen, but sometimes it was best if people just let the things that used to be important to them slip away.
